Holding Deposit:

Prior to proceeding with a tenancy application, we require a holding deposit, which will form part of the first month’s rent provided the tenancy commences satisfactorily. If the landlord withdraws without good reason or delays the start of the tenancy the holding deposit will be refunded to the applicant. If the applicant withdraws without good reason or delays the commencement of the tenancy by a timescale that is unacceptable to the landlord or the applicant fails to declare something or provides false or misleading information resulting in the application being turned down, then the holding deposit will be charged as an abortive fee to cover our costs, please see in agent’s fee schedule above.
